Off-world Incubator

“he gave a classified briefing to a Defense Department agency … about retrievals from ‘off-world vehicles not made on this earth’”

— Ralph Blumenthal & Leslie Kean, New York Times

Future Folklore is a community of leaders of early-stage projects, applied research, and businesses that engage the vast domain of non-human intelligence (NHI) and non-terrestrial life. In our incubator we coach and support each other, aiming for real world applications. We consider SETI, UAP, and other domains.

News like “off-world vehicles” punctures limiting worldviews, opening vistas of possibility. We’re seeing a major renaissance in the domain of NHI, which is breaking out of the exclusive realm of legacy institutions, stigmatized research communities, and secretive federally-funded programs. The innovations awaiting us from findings, and from the search itself, are incalculable. Through the incubator we’re excited to help build and diversify this ecosystem.

Incubator membership is currently through invitation or referral. Reach out via email or on Twitter/𝕏 with questions.

FAQs

Q: Who is the ideal incubator member?
A: A passionate leader of an early-stage idea, project, or business that engages the domain of non-terrestrial life/non-human intelligence. Preference is given to projects developing technologies. Scientists and inventors already working on technologies wanting to scale their work are also encouraged to inquire.

Q: What is the incubator meeting schedule?
A: We currently meet weekly, chat on Discord, and have one-on-one calls in between as needed.

Q: Do I retain ownership of my project?
A: Yes, 100%. In the current form of the incubator, Future Folklore has no ownership, decision-making, or financial investments in the incubator projects. Members share their ideas, work, and progress at their own discretion.
